Ashley Blackwell, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified School Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor practicing since 2018. My passion is to promote healing and understanding in a safe non-judgmental space where all are treated with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. We will work together to empower you through your life journey. My goal is to integrate various evidence-based techniques, in line with your individual needs and objectives, to facilitate your healing. My therapeutic approach takes a comprehensive view of your physical, mental, and emotional needs to build our sessions to best fit your needs.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University and my Master of Science in Counseling from Capella University.
I have experience with clients of all ages and with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioral concerns, ADHD (testing and managing), grief, parenting problems, and social-emotional concerns. My preferred method of therapy is Cognitive Behavioral and Reality therapy model.
I provide therapy sessions in English and Spanish.
Tabitha Friend, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I utilize an integrative approach to therapy that incorporates evidence-based intervention and client-led goals to empower you within your healing journey. We will use a holistic lens when assessing mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs when developing goals and objectives. My desire is to create a non-judgmental, trauma-informed, collaborative environment that cultivates respect, sensitivity and compassion.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northwestern State University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University.
I have worked with clients of all ages with a wide range of concerns including trauma, substance abuse, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral issues.
Jayla Anderson, LPC
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, dedicated to supporting you through life’s challenges with a compassionate and holistic approach. My practice focuses on identifying and addressing current stressors, examining behavior and thought patterns, and exploring unmet needs.
Counseling with me is a collaborative journey where we work together to deepen your self-awareness and set realistic goals to enhance your overall well-being. I utilize evidence-based techniques tailored to your unique needs and aspirations. My priority is to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you feel valued and supported as you work toward healing.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Louisiana State University A&M and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University.
My professional experience encompasses working with clients across various age groups and concerns, including anxiety, depression, early childhood emotional health, family issues, trauma, substance abuse, grief, and attachment challenges. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Choice Theory to empower and foster positive change.
I specialize in patients from the age of 4 to 14.
Ashley Miller, PLMFT
I am a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT) who is passionate about promoting healing and connection in couples and families. With a focus on compassion, communication, and authenticity, I believe that every relationship has the potential for growth and healing.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities—like Emotionally Focused Therapy and Satir’s Human Growth Model—to tailor our work to your unique needs. Together, we’ll uncover patterns, enhance your communication skills, and promote the expression and acceptance of your most authentic self. My goal is to equip you with the tools to navigate challenges, celebrate your wins, and build a fulfilling life together.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and later made a fulfilling career transition and earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University.
I have over 600 hours of experience with clients of all ages and with a wide range of concerns, including conflict resolution, emotional distance, infidelity, affair recovery, parenting concerns, family and couple closeness, and other struggles we all encounter as a result of life stage transitions. I also work with couples seeking premarital counseling.
I work with all couples and with families with children ages 10 and older.
